I’m Meghan - the owner & main photographer here at Photos by Meghan. I started PBM in July of 2020, when I was just 15 years old. I didn’t know the first thing about running a business, and quite frankly, I hardly knew how to work a camera. What I did know was that I adored taking photos and I wanted to share those photos with others - and here we are!
I was born & raised in the small town of Brockville, ON. I come from a big, blended family, which is what truly kickstarted my love of photography. Growing up, I always found myself gravitating to the creative side of things. I was a competitive dancer for many years - which is where I learned how to express emotions & tell a story in such a beautiful & creative way.
Never could I have imagined that purchasing my little Rebel T5 in the beginning of a pandemic would lead me here. I have the privilege of doing what I love every day; and doing it alongside the most amazing couples & families. It truly is a gift & I don’t take that likely.

Yes, it is! I’m so lucky to be able to do what I love for a living. I’ve been full time since June of 2022!

I focus on connection & candid moments when shooting, through various prompts and poses. I make sure to document every moment of your wedding day - the big, the small, and the in between. My edits focus on creamy skin tones, muted colours, and overall warmth. The combination of the way I shoot & the way I edit result in elegant, appealing, images that provoke emotions and tell a story while viewing.

Your gallery will never disappear! Unlike some photographers who remove your gallery after X amount of days, I pay my gallery provider extra so that my clients forever have access to their images. My first ever gallery is still active to this day!

Yes! While I always appreciate being able to use images for social & commercial purposes, I completely understand wanting to keep your images to yourself. I do ask to be made aware of this beforehand!

My galleries are a perfect mix of posed & candid images, and all images are edited in colour, with a good percentage edited into black & white as well!

Yes! I will travel up to 100km free of charge. For any travel beyond that, a charge of $.60/km is applied. Additionally, there may be accommodation or other travel related fees for certain locations.

No! In my eyes, editing is half of what makes my work, my work. Giving away raw images would make my work incomplete. Neither of us want that!
