There’s no exact amount of time you need to book in advance, but I always recommend reaching out sooner rather than later. My availability varies throughout the year, and certain seasons fill more quickly than others. If you have a specific date or timeframe in mind, getting in touch early gives us the most flexibility.
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and like yourself in whatever you choose. I’m always happy to help with outfit ideas, colours, or coordinating everyone without feeling too matchy. If you’re unsure, send me what you’re considering and we can figure it out together!
That’s okay! Kids are kids, and I never expect them to sit still and smile at the camera for an entire session. We’ll let them move, play, take breaks when they need them, and work with whatever they give us. Some of my favourite photos come from letting kids simply be themselves.
Of course! Your session can take place somewhere meaningful to you or simply somewhere that fits the feel you’re looking for. If you need some inspiration, I have a location guide with some of my favourite spots that I’m happy to send your way.
This one varies depending on the time of year! My turnaround can look a little different during the busiest parts of my season, but I’ll always communicate your expected delivery timeframe so you know when to start watching your inbox.
Since weather can change so quickly, I always wait until the day of your session to make any final decisions. If the forecast isn’t looking good, I’ll reach out and we can decide together whether to go ahead as planned or reschedule for another day.
